Daily Worship Schedule:

Each morning at 6:00, the Lord is woken up with the recitation of the Venkateshwara Suprabhatam followed by the ‘shodasha upacharam’ (16 Vedic poojas). 108 names of the Lord are chanted along with offering of flowers and tulsi leaves at the Lotus feet of Lord Venkateshwara and then an Archana Pooja is performed. Later, the idol of the Lord is bathed, dressed with fresh silk clothes and jewelry and offered camphor and Chandan. Fresh garlands of flowers created by the devotees, following particular devotional standards, are then offered to the Lord. By 7:30 am, Deepa (oil lamp), dhoop (incense), fruits and milk sweets are offered in the balabhogam, followed by Rajabhoga, which is a delicious preparation offered to the Lord. At 6:00 in the evening, a variety of fruits is offered to the Lord which is called Sandhya Bhog. The Lord is put to rest during Ekanta Seva with massaging of the Lotus feet of Lord Venkateshwara and recitation of devotional prayers and songs.
